Joseph (Joe) started his legal career in Ohio in 2007, representing large financial institutions in a high-volume setting where he spent most of his days in courtrooms throughout the state. After relocating to Colorado he transitioned to an in-house role, where he worked as Corporate Counsel to a mortgage servicing operation based near Denver, working primarily in a litigation role defending the company against lawsuits filed in nationwide jurisdictions. After a brief period on his own as a solo practitioner, he joined a Denver-based firm where he represented lenders and other financial institutions, primarily in the real estate and bankruptcy realms. He joins Taylor ׀ Anderson with fourteen years of practice experience, nearly all of which have been spent in litigation roles, whether in-house or at a traditional law firm.
He is licensed to practice in Ohio and Colorado, as well as in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, the United States Bankruptcy Appellate Panel for the Tenth Circuit, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. He is a member of the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations and, until recently, served on the Colorado Mortgage Lenders Association Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Committee.
