Overview

Rachel T. Velilla is Of Counsel at Taylor Anderson LLP in the firm's Irvine office.  She has a strong litigation background and experience handling a wide range of civil matters in the areas of premises liability, property damage, vehicle accident liability, trucking and transportation liability, common carrier liability, construction defect, products liability, and commercial litigation. 

Experience

Rachel's expertise includes defending complex injury cases including wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, and permanent disabilities. She is also experienced in defending municipal liability matters, property loss, and first party insurance claims.

Prior to joining Taylor | Anderson, Rachel was with Gates, Gonter, Guy, Proudfoot & Muench, LLP, for eight years, handling the defense of individuals, corporations, and self-insured entities, in a range of general liability matters  involving commercial, retail, hospitality, and residential property owners.  Rachel has vast experience handling the defense of first and third party insurance claims.  She also previously practiced in New York where she gained experience in the defense of commercial and construction matters, elevator accidents, and matters involving the New York Labor Law.

In addition to responsiveness and quality work product, Rachel enhances her relationships by making personal connections with her clients and when claims arise, by quickly identifying potential issues in a particular matter and providing the client with resolution options and potential outcomes. Whether the client’s interests are best served by early case resolution or trial, Rachel is equipped to handle all aspects of litigation from inception through resolution.
